Yellow Tools Freedom 2.5 enters a totally new dimension for the entire mastering and post-production of your songs, scores, synchronizations and sound recordings in a mono, stereo or surround environment up to 8.1.  To give you best possible flexibility you can activate the Independence Pro 2.5 Software Suite on either the Yellow Tools Authorization Key (USB dongle) or as an E-License on your computer - and you do not have to decide for a version before purchase: you get both options in the box.

The extremely intuitive and easy-to-use rack functionality gives you immediate access to over 40 premium filters and effects, including Yellow Tools' sophisticated real-time Impulse Response processor Origami, with many premium IR models and variations (like churches, cathedrals, stages, rooms, halls, etc.) from the Inspired Acoustics, many surround IR files and an audio import option. Origami now contains the Èlastique time-stretch and pitch-shift technology (Soloist by zplane.development) for impulse response and audio files.

Yellow Tools Freedom 2.5 offers three independent snapshot slots. You can add an unlimited number of insert effects to each slot and easily change their order per drag'n'drop. Freedom also allows the import of 3rd party VST Effect plug-ins into the virtual effect rack, so beside all the already included premium filters and effects you can also use your other VST Effect plug-ins directly inside Freedom. For a most intuitive workflow, the order of your insert effects in the rack corresponds exactly to the sequence of your audio input signal. Worldwide unique in Freedom is the flexibility of switching between different surround formats: You can change the input and output format of Freedom completely independent from the original input format of your audio file!

Generally,  Freedom recognizes the surround format of your host-channel automatically and assigns the input and output format accordingly. Nevertheless you can assign other surround formats afterwards at any time. With Freedom it is possible to extract separate channels of a surround file (any combination is possible), to edit them afterwards and finally to create a totally new surround format of these channels using the sophisticated Surround Panner. The Origami version of Freedom 2.5 now contains the Èlastique time-stretch and pitch-shift technology (Soloist by zplane.development) for impulse response and audio files. This time-stretch function comes with the parameters pitch, tempo, formant preservation, sync and original tempo incl. "auto-scan" for the automatic recognition of the original tempo of audio loops. Furthermore the update contains new "step-arrows" for the preset menu in Origami that allow quicker switches of Origami presets, the "reverse" feature for impulse response files in Origami and a generally improved performance and impulse response engine.  Freedom 2.5 was additionally expanded with two new insert effects "Ring Modulator" and "Rotary Speaker".

Yellow Tools Freedom 2.5 impresses with a clear and intuitively operatable user interface.  Three independent snapshot slots enable you to create three totally different insert filter and effect setups in just one plug-in.
