The XpansionTank 2 series from Sonic Reality is a collection of 30 affordable but high-quality libraries of sounds for SampleTank 2. Made of 15 multi-sampled and 15 loops titles they total nearly 10,000 new sounds for around 30 GB of samples.

They include the re-release of 7 classic Expansion Tank/Sonic Capsulese titles with new additional material, and new release of 23 rare Sonic Reality titles from the past, present and future. They can be played by SampleTank 2 L or XL and by the new SampleTank 2 XT workstation plug-in/standalone player. With SampleTank and Xpansion Tank series, building your own custom sound workstation from the ground up, has never been easier.

Each collection ranges from 500 megabytes to over 1 gigabyte in size and contains inspiring “production ready” high quality sounds for making music in any style from Pop to Hip Hop to Rock, Jazz, Country, Electronic, Film Scoring and more.

Multi-sampled titles offer nearly 4,000 instruments sounds with an add-on selection of Pianos, Guitars, Bass, Drums, Strings, Synths, Vintage Keyboards, Vocal, Electronic and World instruments taking full advantage of SampleTank 2 highly flexible and efficient sample engine, with high-quality integrated effects.

The nearly 6,000 loops included are done in either construction kit “menu maps” style for instant song building with drum grooves, bass lines, rhythm parts loops in sync across the keyboard or individual loops broken down into “slice maps” that can be played in real time as well as by the associated midi file per loop in a sequencer for total flexibility in tempo and feel.
