Analogue Modelling Suite Plus
The Analog Modeling Suite Plus includes four high-quality effects plug-ins that model analog audio tools which simply can't be left out of any mastering process.
This includes a high-quality analog compressor (am-track) with optional simulation of studio tape machine saturation effects, a transient designer (am-pulse) for influencing the signal envelope of percussive audio material, a tube pre-amp/channel strip (am-phibia), plus a mastering dynamics tool (am|munition) with compressor, limiter, clipper and M/S editing.
am|muntion
am-munition is an extremely versatile dynamics tool for editing groups or signal sums, especially in the domain of mastering. It has separate units like compression, filtering, side-chain, limiter and clipper. Moreover you can edit middle and side signals separately in M/S mode. All modules and parameters are optimized to perform their fundamental functions without any compromises: effective enrichment of the program material without causing bothersome artifacts, a high maximum volume, and an analog control mode with individual sound signature.
am|pulse
Percussive and dynamic signals, or rather their oscillation processes, may be edited in detail with this plug-in. Therefore this transient designer is ideal for editing the attack and sustain of drums or string instruments. Moreover, among its other optimization mechanisms am|pulse boasts saturation control and mix function, especially due to its harmonic control mode.
am|track
The notable combination of analog compressor and tape simulation is mainly suited to editing individual channels or sub-group signals. am-track features two completely different compressors, each with its own independent control and sound methods. AS well as the VCA mode, which covers the typical sound of VCA compressors featuring a control circuit & feed-forward control of detector selection, there's the Vintage mode, which uses an FET (field-effect transistor) element to create a more aggressive sound. Furthermore the tape selection feature enables tape saturation effect to be imitated, which catches soft transients and sends them through the "tape".
am|phibia
am|phibia is a combination of a tube amplifier and channel strip, that combines a high-quality Opto compressor with a pre and post filter. This means that am|phibia is especially suited for editing vocal and acoustic instrument recordings. This plug-in can be used for achieving pure timbre of any audio material thanks to the built in tube amplifier simulation.
Vandal
Vandal is the only guitar and bass amplifier that combines the characteristic sound and feel of a real hardware setup with the advantages of a software application – all for you to enjoy on your computer!
Every step and component of the amplifier, from the tube to the speaker coils, is virtualized.

Vandal brings more than just a new design and operation concept to virtual guitar and bass amplifiers; borrowing from classic guitar lineups, the plug-in signal goes through the stomp box, amplifier, speaker, microphone, and any possible echo/reverb effects, in which case every kind of clean, crunch, hi-gain, and lead tone is shaped using a unique, universally emulated amp.
In contrast to emulations which use impulse response, individual play methods and guitars receive the same significance as real tube amplifiers.
Independence Sampling Workstation
Independence is the ultimate sampling workstation for professional music production in the studio and for live productions - Independence Pro and Independence Basic also available now. Independence's Audio Engine has been redeveloped and improved, it now contains the Time-Stretching & Pitch-Shifting options. Using the innovative Multi Core support you can specify the number of kernels on your computer should be reserved for Independence. This ensures that Independence has the highest amount of CPU resources at its disposal, causing problems for other processes.
First-class sampling technology
Another milestone is the option to load VST effects, VST instruments and plug-ins from third parties into Independence, so that you have instant access to both your own VST effects and instruments and other sample libraries too. The "browser" page in Independence allows you to search and import any MIDI file in an instant. You can also search for all other types of Independence files such as projects, layer sets and layer sets and sections - with all kinds of attributes.
Flexible workflow
The Independence browser boasts "attribute" based batch processing making it as easy as possible to manage files. This allows you to edit and add attributes in one simple step. In fact, we eliminated all minor differences between the two versions and shaped the product profile by offering high-value extras in Samplitude Pro X Suite. 64-Bit support
For the first time Samplitude Pro X offers you the opportunity to take advantage of a 64-bit application and to use 64-bit plug-ins. Furthermore you can still use of your 32-bit plug-ins. These are operated by an internal bridge and can be combined with any 64-bit plug-ins.
It goes without saying that Samplitude Pro X works on 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. The main difference is in the amount of RAM available. On a 64-bit operating system a 32-bit application can use up to 4 GB of RAM (twice as much as on a Microsoft Windows 32-bit version), while a native 64-bit application is capable of using far more RAM (up to a terabyte, depending on the system components).
Similarly even demanding plug-ins or complex mixes can lead to performance increases.
New docking concept
The Docking System allows for interface adjustments, this means that the program can be optimized for the studio's requirements. Central components of the software can be repositioned or maximized using drag and drop. Choose to either arrange or display the analyzer, file browser or transport console etc.
The docking concept was further developed and optimized for Samplitude Pro X. So now for example the object editor, visualizations and MIDI editor can be docked neatly. Of course, you can create your own toolbar too.
By saving your own work spaces you can use customized program interfaces for various situations so that you always have the appropriate tools to hand.
Spectral editing on track level
Remove unwanted sounds like coughing or clapping, without affecting the original signal audibly. The new spectral editing feature enables track-level spectral editing.
In this way corrections can be made directly in the arrangement.
Using a spectrogram, unwanted noises are quickly identified according to their color representation and removed - ideal for short, clear noises.
AAF / OMF support
Data exchange between various DAWs and exporting to various interfaces can cost lots of time.
Samplitude Pro X now offers integrated OMF/AAF support to simplify data exchange between programs and platforms.
Together with the EDL export for MAGIX Video Pro X and compatibility to other products from the Samplitude/Sequoia family, Samplitude Pro X can be seamlessly integrated into almost every form of digital audio editing, without slowing down the work flow.
5.1 Surround mixing
Samplitude Pro X offers several possibilities for mixing audio material 5.1 Surround. Any number of playback devices may be assigned to all of the Surround master's channels, and the audio material may be divided between the existing Surround busses.
But not only tracks, also individual objects may be routed directly to the Surround master for editing via the Surround panorama module.
Furthermore existing projects can also be mixed in the Surround format.
Tempo track
With help from the new tempo track you can change the playback speed of any part of a MIDI arrangement. This function gives the user the opportunity to make creative tempo changes and to adjust MIDI arrangements to existing audio material.
Additionally there are explicit modes for adjusting beat grid and MIDI arrangements to available audio material, or to tap in the beat grid. This function gives the user the opportunity to make creative tempo changes and to adjust MIDI arrangements to existing audio material.
essentialFX Suite
The new essentialFX Suite is a collection of 10 first-class effect plug-ins and is suited for all every day studio applications. In addition to high-quality algorithms, great importance was placed on practical icons for the individual parameters and the effectiveness of the function.
The uniform operation concept, combined with low resources demands for top quality production, makes the essentialFX suite a collection of high-quality audio tools for all-around tasks.

Optimized Visualization
The visualizations have been completely reworked and have a new design. The interface allows you to design multi-visualizations individually. You can integrate the visualization interface into the Docker or open it in its own window. A surround visualization is now also built in.

Content Packs
Content Pack 1 puts 3 GB of current drum, percussion, guitar , bass, brass, vocal, woodwind, piano, harp and effect-loops at your disposal for use with Samplitude Pro X. The loops are divided into numerous music styles and varying tempos (BPM).
Artist series controller support
Samplitude Pro X now supports the Controller from the Artist Series. Artist Mix, Artist Control and Artist Transport are all part of this. These controllers are controlled using the EUCON protocol, which can be activated in the Hardware Controller Settings.
Note: Windows 7 is a required to use the Artist series.
Optimized help feature
Help topics can now be found quickly using the search bar. You can call up menu commands and search for help topics by entering text (with autocomplete). Trawling through the help menu is now a thing of the past.
