Vienna Instruments Orchestral Strings Bundle

Orchestral Strings I includes 14 violins and 10 violas, while Orchestral Strings II offers 8 cellos and 6 double basses. Orchestral Strings I (click for details)
The largest ensemble recorded at the Silent Stage was the violin section. The 14 violinists are headed by Christian Eisenberger, who in his esteemed international concert work has collaborated with artists and conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Martha Argerich, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Herbert von Karajan, Gidon Kremer, Kent Nagano, Roger Norrington, Murray Perahia, Andras Schiff, Georg Solti, and many others. The ensemble of 10 violas is headed by Anett Homoki who is a member of the Vienna Chamber Philharmony as well as of the Volksoper Vienna.
Orchestral Strings II (click for details)
The articulations of the cello and double bass ensembles in Vienna Instruments: Orchestral Strings 2 naturally correspond to those of the Vienna Instruments Orchestral Strings I. The leading voices of Vienna Instruments: Orchestral Strings 2's two string sections are Argentinian Rubén Dubrovsky, founder of the Vienna Bach Consort, and Martin Deuring, an internationally active solo bassist and founding member of the chamber music ensemble “Ensemble Plus”.
