FL Studio is one of the best selling software products on the market today.  It is used by everyone, from young up and coming producers barely out of their teens, to season veterans like 9th Wonder, DeadMau5 and Mike Oldfield. FL Studio has one of the largest user bases on the planet with 200,000 demo downloads per month.  However, FL Studio is not the only product made by Belgian developer Image Line.  The company makes scores of plug-ins and virtual instruments for musicians.

What’s in the Box? - The Extension Box contains a 20 digit Extension Code and instructions on how to use it. There is no CD or DVD in the box. All software and the registration key must be downloaded.

How many products or upgrades can you choose? – Each boxed Code entitles the customer to a single product, single upgrade or 3 sample collections if that is their choice.

What if products cost less than the $99.00 USD you paid for the Extension Box? – If a product has a value of less than $99.00 USD, the difference is credited to the customer’s Image Line Virtual Cash account which can later be used, or combined with other Extension Box Codes, to activate other (eg. higher priced) products. 

Is the FL Studio Extension Box only for FL Studio users. – Not at all.  The Extension Box can also be used by non-FL Studio users to activate the VSTi or MAC version (where available) of a plug-in; or to download some of Image LIne's sample CD collections.  

How do you use the Code? – Go online and register yourself and the Code at http://flextension.image-line.com. This will allow you to choose a product from the list and then download a ‘FLRegKey.reg’ file that will unlock the selected demo plug-in or upgrade.

Can Boxes be combined for larger purchases? – Yes, the Code registration page will ask you for any additional Extension Codes during registration. This will enable more registration options. There is also information on the Box about combining Codes. 

Do you need internet access to use the Code? – Yes, you need to register the Code and download the ‘FLRegKey.Reg’ online. The product demo files are also online.

Do you need internet access to use the software? – No. You need to go online to enter the Code, register, and download the demo files from any computer with internet access.  Then, install the product demo and ‘FLRegKey.Reg’ file.  Once you're done installing everything, you don't need internet access for the software to work.  The program does not need to ‘call home’.  

Where can you get the Demo downloads? - You can go to www.image-line.com/downloads/downloads.html at anytime to download the Demos.  Also, after registering your Code you can use the links down the right-hand side of your account page.

You are encouraged to download and fully test any product you are thinking of unlocking, before you use your Code. Then, when you are satisfied it works as expected, and meets your needs, THEN use your Extension Code to register it.
