Sonoma Wireworks CameronPack I
Drumcore Add-On Pack
Matt Cameron's beats are woven into the fabric of Seattle's music scene. He received well-deserved recognition when "Grunge" (or just rock as they call it in Seattle) exploded internationally and put raging guitars and relentless, driving drums at center stage.
Matt is generally associated with his Soundgarden and Pearl Jam work. However, he's also the groove behind bands like Jack Endino's Skin Yard, Temple of the Dog, the garage-tinged Wellwater Conspiracy and the jazz-influenced Tone Dogs. Matt has even done sessions with the Smashing Pumpkins and Our Lady Peace.
His musical interests include styles that can put his technique and inventiveness to work (such as prog rock and jazz). As a songwriter himself, he approached these GrooveSets as he would a song. From sparse and soulful to heavy tom grinds - these groove variations are perfect for building emotional drum tracks from start-to-finish.
Sonoma Wireworks CameronPack I has some very special drum sounds, including a custom built snare by Northwest drummer and drum tech Greg Keplinger, famous for perhaps the heaviest and most characteristic steel snare drum on the market. Also included is a great Yamaha David Garibaldi piccolo snare and Matts great sounding Yamaha kit. Plus you get vintage Zildjian cymbals (including 15" hi-hats) with an old-school tone that sits great in a mix!
Sonoma Wireworks CameronPack I and all DrummerPacks require DrumCore 2 and a DVD drive.
Sonoma Wireworks DrummerPacks are add-on libraries for DrumCore, and are arranged into "GroovePacks" which group a variety of grooves and fills that work well together, for easier song construction. DrummerPacks also come pre-configured with metadata information for use with the DrumCore search engine. This provides quick access to grooves, fills, variations and individual drum sounds. Search content based on style (rock, funk, alternative, etc.), feel (straight, shuffle, etc.), time signature and tempo. Users can even add their own criteria (create a new "style" for example) and enter their own comments for searching. DrumCore also exports directly to Pro Tools, Logic, and Digital Performer sessions.
