The IK Multimedia AmpliTube iRig interface adapter is the easiest way to get your instrument’s signal into your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad mobile device. More gear can be purchased form IK Multimedia through the app itself (a-la-carte stompboxes $2.99 each and amplifiers+cabinets for $4.99 each).  Plus, AmpliTube for iPhone features a chromatic digital tuner and a metronome.
