sE Electronics RN-17 Pencil Condenser Microphone - The worlds first pencil mic with a large scale, ultra high performance, transformer which is custom designed and hand wound.
The sE Electronics RN 17 features a newly developed 17mm capsule from sE, the worlds smallest production gold sputtered Mylar capsule, the result is truly magnifi cent. The definition and detail from the capsule is incredible, made more so by the headroom afforded by the Rupert Neve transformer. The combined effect is one of extreme clarity, with a wonderfully silky finish.
The RN17 comes in a beautiful handmade wooden box, and includes a 17mm cardioid capsule and a brand new, easy to use, shock mount. sE Electronics will offer interchangeable omni, hyper cardioid, bidirectional capsules and pads as well.
