Audiomatica CLIO Standard 8.5 runs on a standard PC computer, and is the synthesis of more than 16 years experience and excellence in electro-acoustic measurement systems and gives you all the power and flexibility you need. It refines all the well established measurement techniques already implemented in the CLIO system while adding several new functionalities.

CLIO Standard includes the SC-02 + PB4281 PCI/USB Audio Interface for 18 bit @ 48kHz resolution.  The PB-4281 PC board and SC-02 Signal Conditioner form a high precision two channels A/D-D/A audio front-end for your IBM or compatible PC.  The PB-4281 PC board is housed in a standard PCI slot inside your computer and performs precise 18-bit digitizing of the signals to be analyzed.

The SC-02 Signal Conditioner is software controlled via an USB serial link; it is equipped with an instrument grade input and output analog circuitry with an exceptionally wide range of output attenuation and input gain that allows an easy interface to the outer world; the input and output loopback capability with the internal ultra stable voltage reference permit a simple and precise calibration of the whole instrument; the two input channels can be controlled separately or as a single balanced one.

A switchable phantom supply lets you directly connect an Audiomatica MIC-01 or MIC-02 or MIC-03 microphone to any of the SC-02 input.
It is also possible to superimpose a DC voltage to the genarated AC signal.

Audiomatica CLIO Standard 8.5 Measurement Techniques
Compared to other measurement systems, CLIO concentrates the power of many different instruments into a single one.  Three different measurement techniques are available for system identification and characterization:
-MLS & LogChirp analysis using either pseudo-random noise or logarithmic chirps as stimuli
-Sinusoidal Sweeps using sinusoidal signals
-FFT, RTA and 'Live' Transfer Function letting you the choice of any stimulus, even live music.

While other instruments offer one single possible measurement choice, Audiomatica CLIO Standard 8.5 gives you three alternatives permitting to view the physical phenomenon like frequency response, impedance or other parameters, from three different points of view. The final result will be then validated by the consistency of these measurements: as any expert technician knows, this is the correct approach that should always be adopted.
